Nigerian Study Visa / Student Residence Permit Application – The Nigerian Study Visa (also called a Student Visa) and the Student Residence Permit (R7A CERPAC) are official immigration authorizations issued by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) that allow foreign nationals to enter Nigeria legally for educational purposes and to stay in the country for the duration of their studies
Eligibility for Nigerian Study Visa / Student Residence Permit Application:
- International student admitted into a Nigerian university, polytechnic, college of education, seminary, Long Term Programme or training institution
- Foreign minor/student coming for basic or secondary education
- Exchange student or research student
- Foreign student who needs to remain in Nigeria longer than 90 days
Documents Required:
- Data page of valid international passport (not less than 6 months validity)
- Admission Letter from an accredited Nigerian Educational Institution
- Proof of payment or required minimum tuition fee by Applicant or Sponsor (Statement attached)
- Letter of Acceptance for Immigration Responsibility by the Institution
- Visa Page
- Entry Stamp
- Evidence of funds to sustain the Family (6 months statement) or proof of sponsorship
